WELCOME TO BEARS CLASS

We update this page all the time with ways in which you can help at home. You may find the yearly overview document useful below as well how you can contact the Reception team. For detailed curriculum information including progression documents that outline specific knowledge and skills that your child will learn, please visit the curriculum page here.

OUR CLASS

Our class is made up of Reception and Year 1.  Mrs Furness and Mrs Halford teach us. Mrs Beswick is our Teaching Assistant. Together, our team ensures that each year group receive an exciting,  age appropriate curriculum.

We hope that you find this information useful in supporting your child at home and finding out about learning in school.

For more detailed information about the curriculum please scroll to the 'year overview' tab below. The curriculum pages are where you can find detailed information about each subject including phonics.

Don't forget to read through the curriculum information that we send home at the start of each half term. The knowledge organisers outline what we would like children to know and remember by the end of each unit and half term.

Please note: This overview reflects changes to the curriculum that were made in the Spring term. For the Autumn term topics and prior projects, please ask to see the previous overview document.
